Trim Levels
The RAM 1500 TRX comes in 4 trim levels, including the following:
Base Model: This version is anything but basic, with various upgrades from the traditional RAM 1500, including a traction-control toggle and mode-selection switch in the center console.
TR1: This model is a step up from the RAM 1500 Limited, incorporating luxury touches like a blacked-out interior in leather and suede.
TR2: Luxury hits a new level in the TR2, where you’ll enjoy a programmable 10.1” head-up display with windshield projection in addition to other must-haves, like carbon-fiber interior trim.
TRX Launch Edition: As a nod to the 702 horsepower engine, RAM produced only 702 of these models – and they sold out in just hours! The TRX Launch Edition includes a 19-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system (available on other trim levels) and other interior amenities that make it the ultimate in off-roading.
Performance Capabilities
The RAM 1500 TRX excels off road, easily beating the Ford F-150 Raptor in power and durability in a side-by-side comparison. Below its hood scoop lurks a 6.2-liter Hemi V-8, the notorious Hellcat engine.
The TRX boasts an 11.8” ground clearance and 8 unique drive modes to take on any terrain, including sport, snow, custom, mud/sand, rock and baja. The TRX is also the first RAM truck equipped with Launch Control, a welcomed addition that minimizes wheel slip to ensure the fastest possible acceleration rate.
Safety & Security
RAM’s latest and greatest is stocked with driver-assist technology geared toward ensuring a safe ride. Features like lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control make on-road driving a breeze.
